Open the file "\MKY\MKY.IO.Usb\SerialHidDevice.cs". Open "YAT.sln" in Visual Studio 2008 or Visual Studio Express 2008.

Get a working copy of the YAT source code trunk revision #651. The report size is added to the second byte of each report The report ID is fixed to 0x3F (whatever 0x3F means.) "Datapipe HID" is not that different from what I have already implemented referred to in the TI documentationĪre related to Java and don't exist in the Win32 API The API calls "HID_Open()", "HID_Close()". Appart from TI nobody seems to use the term "Datapipe HID" I am open to helping however I can to move it forward.īarry, I have finished those items that were urgent for my collegues at work and have started to deal TI MSP430 USB Ser/HID (Datapipe).īased on the TI documentation I came to the following conclusion: I would like to see something as soon as possible. A USB data pipe terminal like YAT would greatly aid my system development. If either of those options interests you I just need an estimate of how long it will take before test code is available. I could also send a donation for the amount of the Experimenter Board and you could decide during development if you need to purchase one or not. If it would help I could purchase an Experimenter Board and ship it to you. Hopefully I could debug the YAT project with Visual Studio Express. It already works with the TI example tools. I don't have the Experimenter Board, but I do have my custom board up and running. If you are able to make the necessary YAT modifications to begin testing the data pipe interface, I would be happy to assist with testing and debugging. At that point TI might be much more interested in working with you. I think if you had the functionality implemented several TI developers would start using YAT. In my experience it is difficult for small organizations like yours and mine to get TI's attention. The best development board to support testing is here:
#Visual micro msp430 manual
The full instruction manual is included with the code library.I am grateful you are interested in adding USB data pipe functionality. Your controller and module should be connected like this for UART communication: The GT-CP code library should be saved on your local drive with your project files.

Your CCS workspace should look like this after the library has been included:
#Visual micro msp430 update
Update V2.2 (JULY 29, 2021): Added a qwerty keyboard example program. 25, 2021): Added a bar graph example program. Removed old example programs as they were too complex to learn from. 23, 2021): We have performed a major overhaul to this library example to improve the overall structure and usability.Īdded new example programs to focus on individual functionalities. 9, 2018): Refactored “GUTFT” to “GTCP” in demo files 9, 2017): Added instruction manual and image files Please download the latest version before use. NOTE: This demo requires Noritake_GTCP_MSP430 code library for MSP-EXP430F5529LP.
#Visual micro msp430 how to
This project demonstrates how to use the Noritake_GTCP_MSP430 code library for MSP-EXP430F5529LP to store and show a color image, interpret and visually represent multi-touch data, and print characters in a user-defined window. Added GTCP_setUserFontAddressSize to GTCP.c. Added I2C compatibility for MSP430FR6989. Update V2.2 (JULY 29, 2021): Fixed an I2C communications bug.

25, 2021): Fixed an I2C communications bug. Switched to using Code Composer Studio (V7 or later) to remove IAR’s code size limitation.

23, 2021): We have performed a major overhaul to this library to improve the overall structure and usability. 18, 2019): Added GTCP_printString() function. See our related Getting Started Guide (Connect to Microcontroller). This library implements the I2C, SPI and UART interfaces to communicate with the GT-CP modules. I2C functionality was recently added for MSP430FR6989.

#Visual micro msp430 series
This library provides access for the base functionality of the GT-CP series modules using an MSP-EXP430F5529LP micro-controller.
